in asp.net/vb.net 4.0 app, session is lost once i redirect it to another page. the user enters information on 3-4pages so i need to access the info entered in other pages, so i'm using session variables (i'm not able to use request.form or previouspage because i do postback in same page too so not sure whether it will retain information). using POST method in each page.
i thought this session lost when redirecting page was fixed in .net 2.0 (in 1.1 we shouldnt do response.redirect if setting session in that page).
currently using server.execute method to redirect and it is working but question is why response.redirect removes session variables in 4.0?
response.redirect(url,false) is the code is used.
