Hi all,

I'm having a problem with a website after the server got infected by the downandup virus.

I had the web application up and running but after applying the symantec's fix for the virus the web application started responding: "Server Application Unavailable ".

I have a look to the event viewer and the description for this error is: "App-Domain could not be created. Error: 0x80070005"

This probably means that it is a security issue (access rights).

Most of the posts I've found tell me to give read & execute, list folder contents, read and write permissions to the Ineptup or wwwroot folder to one of the following accounts:

IIS_WPG (which contains ASPNET, IWAM_MachineName, LOCAL SERVICE, NETWORK SERVICE & SYSTEM)

Network Service alone

or IUSR_machinename alone (anonymous user for IIS)

I'm using framwork 2.0 and IIS 6. Some other posts&n ...

Go to the complete details ...
