Calendar Dayrender dynamic checkboxlist issue

Hi:

On my calendar day_render event I am created a checkbox list item for my checkboxlist control for each day. No here is the crazy thing...if, in my HTML the checkboxlist control is before the calendar control, the listitems are not there? If i put the checkboxlist control after the calendar control I get 30 checkboxes for each day of October. Any ideas?
