Hi

I've used Atlas to implement a very simple auto complete feature on a textbox following a simple example I found on the web. I developed and tested in my Windows 2003 development environment with IE 6.0.3790.1830 (SP1) and all seemed well. Uploaded to the live server and still all seemed well, then had a user report a Javascript error on the page that has the auto complete functionality.

The user is on Windows 2000 and IE 6.0.2800.1106CO (also listed as SP1) and I have also reproduced on my own Windows 2000 machine (same build as the user's).

The error reported is "'Sys' is undefined", Line 2, Char 1, followed by "Expected '}'", Line 293, Char 260.

Interestingly, the page loads fine when IE is restarted or is forced to go back to the server via Ctrl+F5. The error only occurs when reloaded from the cache: via F5 or the Back button, for example.

I've seen the error reported a few times on this site, but not seen any definitive answers - ...

Go to the complete details ...
