pass value returned by query to xml attribute

I have a xml like
<customer name="AAA" Age ="23"/>
I have a query that returns age
select age from customer
I want to pass the value (of age) returned by the query to that xml attribute Age. So how to say the xml attribute Age to get the value from query. I am using C# 3.0, .NET framework 3.5 Thanks.
