Best way to store page styling

Hi
Whenever a user of my application first hit my application, it checks the querystring passed in and store and set the page styling throughout the site.
Where is it best to add this check on my page?  Master Page on page_load?
How to store all the styling variables, so it can be reused throughout the site?  Session?
