Sorry for the wording, but I'm not sure what you'd call this.
Basically our site has a login page the user must pass to reach the rest of the site. The problem is you can just type in the address of any of the "protected" pages and gain access (the searches don't function, but you can view the pages).
http://www.test.com/login.aspx -> http://www.test.com/access.aspx
If you type in http://www.test.com/access.aspx it goes right to it.
At one point in time things worked fine and it redirected you to the login page, but somewhere down the line things broke and we are without a programmer to help fix this.
Any points in the right direction or even what this would be correctly called out be appreciated
