I have a question... I have a product's table, but i want people to be able to type in a keyword or a phrase to find products.
I know with MSSQL, you can index Full Text (product description) and use "CONTAINS" sql command. This method seems like it would return a lot of unwanted results for the user.
I also thought of creating a keywords field in the table that is a comma delimited string of keywords that i write to link to the product. Then i can do an substring search or something like that.
How are other's doing this to optimize search results with little overhead? Anything new with 3.5?
