How do I turn an Object Param into a variable?

 I have an object that calls the Visio Viewer:
    <object classid="clsid:279D6C9A-652E-4833-BEFC-312CA8887857" id="Viewer1" width="100%"
        height="100%">
        ...
        <param name="SRC" value="H:\R9 West Renovation\R9 Equipment.vsd" />
        <param name="CurrentPageIndex" value="0" />
        <param name="Zoom" value="-1" />
    </object>
 
If I use the file name in the "SRC" value it works all right.
What I need to do is to pass this page a parameter so that when I click on a hyperlink:
