Looping through checkboxes

I have a long of checkboxes in a basic table (not in a checkboxlist control) that I want to loop through and grab all of the individual IDs.
<asp:CheckBox ID="chkTicker" runat="server" Text="Ticker" /><br />
<asp:CheckBox ID="chkCompanyName" runat="server" Text="Company Name" /><br />                                      
<asp:CheckBox ID="chkIndustry" runat="server" Text="Industry" /><br />
I found this example on to do this using a checkboxlist control below but how would I modify this for individual checkboxes?  Thanks
