Adding javascript in codebehind

I have been trying to add a script in the codebehind to close certain windows when btnAdd is clicked, the function is called from the click event and it runs the code but does nothing.
 
Private Function JSFuntion() As String Dim script As New StringBuilder script.AppendLine("function SendToParent(){") script.AppendLine("window.parent.opener.reload ;") script.AppendLine("window.parent.close();") script.AppendLine("}") Return script.ToString End Function
The btnAdd is within an iframe, the script above is supposed to say when clicked, reload the parent windows opener and then close the parent window.
 
Any ideas why this doesnt work or return any errors?
