Dear Friends,
Tell me, why that is not binding correctly?
<Card:Traffic ID="Widget_Traffic" runat="server" Respondent='<%# Request.Params["ID"] %>' />
Card:Traffic is a simple web user control with property:
private string _Respondent;
public String Respondent
{
get
{
return _Respondent;
}
set
{
Response.Write(value);
_Respondent = value;
}
}
When I use <%# Request.QueryString["ID"] %> or <%= Request.QueryString["ID"] %> (in this case, the <%..%> string is visible) nor <%# Eval(Request.QueryString["ID"]) %>.
Obviously when I use
<Card:Info ID="Widget_Info" runat="server" Respondent='22' />
it works perfectly or when I use Widget_Info.Respondent = "22" (inside Page_Load method).
What is the right way? I just don't get ...
