Ok, having some real trouble trying to secure PDF files from anonymous users.
The PDF's should be only for users that login. My roles are working fine with aspx pages.
With a direct url the PDF can be accessed. I have look around a found solutions but they are not working for me.
If I use permissions then the file is not accessible for the role either. If I add the mapping in IIS the file becomes completely blocked. I have tried using the virtual path with permissions and its a no go.
I can not believe it this hard to do. I would expect that the web.config access rules would apply to all files regardless. Whats the combination I should use to accomplish this?
