I am trying to invoke an object differently in .NET but not having luck. I simply want to return the file date from my xml file to my display page. What am I doing wrong? the value I want, fileDate, is in the root node: <store_config codiv="ZZZZ" fileDate="2009/1/30">
On my display page I have:
fileDate: <%=strXMLFileDate%>On my code-behind page I have ( a new way to invoke the object as opposed to suppling the values as arguments like I had been doing..):
BackupFileByDate backups = new BackupFileByDate();
backups.strProductXMLPath = _strProductXMLPath;
_strXMLFileDate = backups.xmlFileDate;
backups.GetFileDate(); And finally in the class I have:
