I didn't really know where to post this so bear with me. The last page to this website I am developing is a Schedule Generator. Basically I have a league with let's say 4 teams to make it easy. There are 9 weeks in a season. In week 1, Team A plays B, Team C plays D. Week 2, A plays C, B plays D. You get the drift... Well, I am inserting a new line into my SQL database for every game. So what's the most efficient and easiest way of doing this? My guess is to loop through the weeks, grab the teams, and insert them? But that brings up the insert problem, can you change the variable of let's say Team1 and Team2 and insert the same statement numerous times? Is that efficient?
I am only a mediocre programmer so this is a little new to me. Mostly looking for guidance and maybe a few educational sources or answers.
