approving actions from the email itself

Hi,

   we are trying to create notification system for our users. The notification system will send email or text message to the users based on their preference. In some of the emails, we would like to add action buttons like (confirm,  reject )  etc. when the user clicks on those buttons inside email, we should be able to process those requests. we are not sure how it will work and how we could validate the users when the request comes from the email. please give us ur ideas.
