I have a repeater, that displays a series of <input type="image" .. onServerClick="LoadDetailsOfImage_ServerClick"/>. My question is, how can I determine what image caused the onServerClick to fire? I tried to bind the parameter as the ID/Name of the input element, but I cannot bind it to ID because ID's cannot have dynamic data (anyone able to explain why that is?) and the Name element just get's replaced with the typical ct100$.... value instead of the dynamic value e.g. "4".
This seems like one of those little oddities of ASP.NET that I hope was based on some logical reasoning, but just seems odd. If I can set an ID to be any value I want, why couldn't I bind it to any dynamic value that i want to?
