HI,
I need to work on a ASP.NET Web Forms application built in 2008, using ASP.NET2, SQL 2005 and C#; I need to add some .aspx files, and make some modifications and modify the data access layer, stored procedure used, etc. I also need to call some .aspx files from a MVC application.
I've been reading the Web Forms app's code for a month, and was able to figure some things out...As I never worked on a Web Forms project before, I find myself not haivng a clear picture of how all these pieces work together? such as: aspx; user controls (ascx); data access layer; .csproj; PostBack; ViewState; etc.
Can anyone recommend a ebook on ASP.NET WebForms that I can download quickly for free? Or a to-the-point tutorial?
Thanks,
Claudia
