I have a bound dropdownlist. The first item is Text:"Select Topic" and Value: "0", Selected = True. The rest of the items come from a table query. If I select another item the SelectedIndexChanged event fires with no problem. If I now go back and choose the first item "Select Topic" the SelectedIndexChanged event does not fire. I noticed this while debugging. Why would this event not fire only on the first item?
