Hosting site Chages toShortDateString

Hi if got a 
HtmlTableCell with text in   
lbll.Text = start.AddDays(i - 2).ToShortDateString()
When on local machine the date is like mycomputer date , but when on my hosting server it chages to an american format
how can i modify the above code to make the date stay the same .
