Update Tab data

Hi,
 
I have an update panel which contains four link buttons tha act as tabs. fourth  tab contains a panel which has a tex box and a button. Once
the button is clicked, the page is reloaded and the data is refreshed. My issue is, once the page is reloaded, it shows the data in both first and fourth tabs. This is happening because the first tab is set up to show when page loads.
How can I refresh the data and still show the same foruth tab?
