I'm a dedicated hand-coder but recently moved over to VS as I can see a lot of advantages.
My confusion and I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere but I haven't managed to find out why is when do you use the Project option and when do you use the Web Site option. I see that a Project creates a .sln file and a Web Site does not but what is the reasoning behind both options?
I build websites and web-based developments but can't really see the benefit or reasoning behind which to use.
