save data if connection has problem

hi friends
i have a web application for registering some data in database,the user should entry many fields and after all,click Register button for sending data to server..now for any reason if connection has problem,data will not send to server and data will lost ,so user should enter all data  again.
is there any way to save data in a local place and if connection has problem,retrieve data from that place again? (with this user dosnt need enter data again)
