Hello,
is there any way how can I connect to my WCF services from Silverlight without using that generated Service References? I'd like to use channels so I tried to use ChannelFactory but CreateChannel method throws NotSupported exception. Will be this method supported in final release? Also I tried to genereate service reference and checked option Reuse types in referenced assemblies but it seems it's not working because it regenerated all data contracts.
It looks like there is no other option now but to use generated references or write some custom classes that derives from ClientBase. What are plans on this issue? Whan can we expect to be the final state of this in Silverlight 2 release?
