I have a ASCX (ASCX1) control nested within another ASCX (ASCX2) control. In ASCX1 I have a textbox and an autocomplete that retrieves a name. Upon selecting a name, I raise an event on ASCX1 that ASCX2 subscribes to. After autopopulating all the fields
in ASCX1, I disable the textbox and present a Clear button located in ASCX2.
My problem is that after I autopopulate, my control(s) seem to "freeze" in the sense that if I click on a button (Clear button), no event is raised and nothing happens - it's like the controls do not respond at all. The way I get them to work is by clicking
beside the Clear button and then clicking on the Clear button again. It's almost like I need to focus on the control.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any tips?
