I have never gotten even as far as doing a "Hello World" in the web world. I know basics of C# and now want to learn ASP.NET so that I can develop a site.
I have tried reading a few books, but didnt make much progress... none of them seem to target web programming beginners. Every bok assumes that you either know HTML or whatever else is required to learn ASP.NET
Here are my disadvantages:
-Dont know HTML or anything related.
-Dont know ASP.NET
Here is what I know:
-Been doing C++ programing for as long as I can remember.
-Can struggle and write C++ like code in C#.
-I want to learn ASP.NET (MVC), HTML etc.
-Have access to VS 2010/2008.

My goals:
-Learn the basics of web programming and be able to write good web pages.
-I want to know how HTML and XML works so that I know what my code will do.
-Want to know how to make an ordinary s ...

Go to the complete details ...
