Windows update wants to install KB 2463332 for SQL Server Express 2005, however I have no instances of Express 2005 that qualify for the update. Please see summary of installation that follows. I have manually installed KB 2463332 for the SQL Server
2005 instances and the update finished successfully - all instances of SQL Server 2005 have been updated, but KB 2463332 will not update the SQL Server 2005 Express instances. Why do my SQL Server Express instances not qualify? How do I get
rid of this annoyance? Is there a registry entry that needs to be modified to keep this from recurring? Why is Windows Update trying to apply an update for a product with no qualifying instances? Can anybody please point me in the right direction.
