null coalsceing in C#

Hi friends,

I was trying to use null coelsceing in the follwoing way

Cust.Text = reader["CustName1"].ToString() ? null : reader["CustName2"].ToString();

But showing me an error saying cannot implicitly convert  type string to bool..Please suggest as what i am doing wron..Thank you
