I'm not sure why, but my SL2b1 app is broken in FF2.0.0.14 but renders in IE. As far as I can tell from reading the change-docs, the changes should not effect me. Nevertheless...
In a separate SL2b2 app I constructed w/o control templates, it rendered fine.
In the broken app developed w/ SL2B1, some controls apply control templates. I would expect that the controls that don't apply templates would still render, but they don't: one rendering failure in one control effectively swallows the entire renderer from painting any controls. I do not have any custom measure-and-arrange logic and am simply using default panels and built-in System.Windows controls. Furthermore, in my Loaded event handler I am writing the actual sizes of controls to the window through alert dialogs and they're showing non-null ActualHeight and ActualWidth values. Thus, at the very least one measure pass succeeded.
