Just got confirmation from my hotsing company that they do not allow Crystal Reports or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
With that in mind, what can I use as an alternative for generating reports in a .NET environment with SQL Server data?
It needs to be something that does not require any installation on the server. But I could of course put some DLLs in my bin directory.
I have been using OpenXML for generating a couple of basic text reports. But I was hoping that there might be a more straight-forward report system I could use for tabular data.
