I see a web application using query builder to buid 300 queries against SQL server which can use one stored procedures or simple SQL using group clause.
I tried to run the web application seems works fine. The system get result.
I would like to know any impact for this kind of design to SQL Server.
The developer uses 300 queries which means the client hit the server 300 times instead of calling a stored procedure.
I see server can handle those connections. It looks like that the stored procedures or group clause in SQL statment is better for future maintenaince, since it does not need to change source code if there is any new records added.
I am not sure any impact to performance or server hardware.
