What can't you store in Profiles?

I have a question for you .net Gods among mere mortal like myself.... What can't you store in Profiles? I'm looking to store large amount of text, user about statement, in the profile along with the other important facts about the user. Is this a good idea/ Or should I just link two tables together. One containing the profile and the other contains the large text information. Thanks
