How do i find a text box inside a place holder and it's in wizard.

TextBox txtBox = PlaceHolder1.FindControl(txtBoxId) as TextBox ;

Here the txtBox is null. My placeHolder is  in side the wizard and I'm trying to access the text box  contol on  WizardStepType.Start
