When I create a file through .NET is there any way to later read the file get it's creation date?
I tried using File.GetCreationTime(FileName) but it contained a date in the 1600s. I was looking at the FileAttributes class but didn't see any property for Create Date. Is there any way to retreive the Create Date property from a file that was created in
.NET?

Got it to work. I'll share my code in case anyone wants to see:
FileInfo myFileInfo = new FileInfo(fi.FullName);
string CreateDate = myFileInfo.CreationTime.ToString("yyyy-MM-dd");
CreateDate now contains 2013-06-17
(fi.FullName contains something like C:\Folder\File.txt)
