I'm having trouble trying to get the value of a variable which is declared as property string in the masterpage. I will describe and I would appreciate any help on this issue (this is not unfamiliar to me but I can't recall if I have solved or successfully used this feature).
In the master page I have:
...
Public Property gPlusURL() As String
Get
strPathAndQuery = "" & LCase(HttpContext.Current.Request.Url.AbsoluteUri)
Return "" & strPathAndQuery
End Get
Set(ByVal value As String)
strPathAndQuery = "" & value
End Set
End Property
...
Then in several ASPX files with this master I can successfully retrieve the value for strPathAndQuery, like this:
