I have a User table which is currently controlling our admin securtity (The company I work for did this back in the asp days). I am now wanting to move all the users into the aspnet_users table, I already have the users set up but forgot to put in their own passwords and just used generic ones instead. I am wondering if there is a quick sql way to do this without having to login to the aspnet configuration and changing each users password manually (mission). Something like a UPDATE aspnet_USERS SET password = (SELECT password FROM Old_Users_Table). I dont know if this can be done seeing as though the password is encrypted with a salt, but if anyone knows of an easy way to migrate this it will be greatly appreciated.
