I am trying to use a value from a multidimensional array in an IF statement with no success,
I get this error message: Cannot implicitly convert type 'string' to bool', in my IF statement.
The value is assigned properly as my label1.text control displays it okay.
Is some type of cinversion required when using varialbles from arrays in conditional loops ?
My code:string[,] JobDetails = new string[8, 6];
JobDetails[0, 0] = "Hello";
string temp1 = JobDetails[0, 0];label1.text= temp1;
if (temp1 = "Hello")
{ .....
}
