I have an application in IIS6. I am using isapi to trigger a file handler that processes requests for all pdf extensions. It works fine.
Recently I added a nested virtual directory folder under the application that simply points to a different location on the network for pdf files. This virtual directory contains nothing but folders,subfolders, & files (no configs or anything). I would like to use the same handler class that I use on my main application. Currently trying to access a pdf in the virtual directory folder does not even fire the handler code. It simply gives the error 'The URL you attempted to reach has an ISAPI or CGI application installed that verifies user credentials before proceeding.'.
Is this even possible to do?
