Consider the following URL: http://somewhere/somedir/somepage.aspx?num=7&txt=bob

I would like my application to load this sucker up, pull out the fact that num=7 and txt=bob and show the users a nice new clean url that just says http://somewhere/somedir/somepage.aspx.  Basically, I have a webforms application that uses a single page and swaps user controls into a placeholder for the form content.  I've eliminated using the query string for anything, but now I have to expose a querystring method of firing a search.  Another application somewhere out on the web has a map and when they click on a portion of the map it fires off a URL like the one seen at the top of this post.  I don't want the ugly querystring parms hanging around as they mess up the usercontrol loading if I check for the querystring on each postback.  ...
