In my application I have login control and I use default membership provider, I ran aspnet_regsql and created required tables and SP's in my database.
My application provides file upload facility for Users. I want to isolate the files which are uploaded by users.
Database: Users table which has user info, Files table which has uploaded file name.
When I insert a record in Files table I have to mention the user who uploaded it. How to do this?
What are all the user informations available once he logged in?
How can I get the user id or something unique(not user name) so that i can use that when users upload files?
Is it enough to check User.IsAuthenticated property in every page to secure the page?
