External ASMX WebService Reference in ScriptManagerProxy

Hi All,
For a while I was successfully using an asmx script service(script enabled) right from my web application. The scriptmanager declaration which was working fine is given below:
<asp:ScriptManagerProxy ID="ScriptManagerProxy1" runat="server">
        <Scripts>
            <asp:ScriptReference Path="../Scripts/Scripts.js" />
        </Scripts>
        <Services>
            <asp:ServiceReference Path="~/InternalScriptServices/ScriptService.asmx" />   
        </Services>
</asp:ScriptManagerProxy>
But, recently there was requirement to deploy this serv ...
