I'm running a website, but the user likes to know how mutch a image of them is viewed on a page. Its placed on a few pages, so not on every page.
So wat is the best way to monitor that?
Its 1 image, and i like to know when he is viewed, on witch month.
Of course i can add a counter i a database, but are ther better options? its a lot of 'stupid' database traffic.
Normally we get +/- 40.000 pageviews every day, so for a month it would be: 40.000 x 30 = 1.2 mil. records if i add every record with a date to the database.
