Hi,
I have a web application (ASP.NET 2.0) which connects to multiple databases for load balancing purposes. We've been getting network connectivity issues to one of these databases but can't readily identify which one from our error logs.
Is there some way we can add some identifier to the error raised so it'll show up in the logs?
All database interaction code is wrapped in Try blocks so we can ensure disposal of connection (to release it back in to the pool) if there's a failure. Is there something I could do in the Catch section of the code block to add extra info?
I also use ELMAH for automatic error logging in case this is helpful to know.
Anyone out there have any ideas?
Cheers,
Gavin.
