I have decided to write my own calendar day view control.
Everything is working great except when appointments are overlapping.
Each appointment is drawn as a div with absolute position relative to the parent div.
Now My problem is creating the function that will calculate the position of the div when appointments are overlapping.
The day view should work as MS outlook.
I have search the net for components and no components can handle all the functionality I need.
To simplyfy my model all appointments for a day is given by a starttime and an endtime.
The time can be transfered to the vertical pixels in my control.
Let me give you an example:
Four appointments:
{?,20,?, 40 } { ?, 30, ?, 50 } {?,40,?, 70 } {?, 60, ?,100}
Lets say the parent div is 200px wide.
The result should then be:
{0,20,100, 40 } { 100, 30, 200, 50 } {0,40,100, 70 } {100, 60, 200,100}
