So I watched the video on the site about creating a Profile within the web.config file, and allowing the user to enter their name once they login and display their name during subsequent logins.
Two questions.
1. Can I create the profiles for each user (ie. set the FullName property so it displays their name when they login, etc) manually so it's already stored before they loigin for the first time?
2. The site will display information from a SQL database and allow them to view/edit it. Can I change which view of the database the user sees based on their login info, and is it possible for them to only be able to edit their own entries? I realize this question probably requires a lengthy explanation, so if anyone could possibly direct me to a tutorial that would be great. Thanks in advance.
