I am looking at how to create a user through code and I been looking at some examples and one of them first does teh create method and then after if it is successfull calls this:
FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(userName, rememberMe);
I am not 100% sure what this is doing. I know the that the Auth cookie keeps track of the user or something like that and the Default is "UseDeviceProfile" but I did not know you had to call this method. Or is this like an optional step?
