i am trying to get my head around the 3 tier design of web pages. I have got it up and running and now i have done so, it looks a bit weird.
I create a Class for the DAL and a Class for he BLL. The page displayed different links in a template style of hotels in Greece. At the moment my page is actually the 404 error page, so I dont have folders.
In base class of the master page I sort out the URL and identify the various categorys IDs required for the next stage
so in my content page, I do this
I access with DAL class, creating an instance of the class and access a function that hold 6 varables are returns a dataset. One of them is the CategoryID and the other are for paging. and stuff.
Once the dataset is returned I go through it line by line with an instance of another class that sends the DS line by line to another class, using a loop
