Open another site in a new window

Hi,
I want to open another website from code behind in a new window. When I use this code:
Response.Write("<script>window.open('http://website.com','_blank')</script>")
The site opens in a popup window.
I just want to open a new window (not popup). How can I do it. I want the behaviour like <a href="http://website.com" target="_blank">
