hello,
i have a situation where a user can upload a file. I would like it so when they hit upload, i can set a piece of text or a flash control visible that would indicate "please wait" or "loading" etc and then continue in the code to perform the upload. however, when i try this, it waits until it is done uploading the file before setting the txt or control visible, even tho it is stated before the upload method. Is there a way to get this to work? a way to perhaps delay the second part (the actual uploading of the file) a few secs so it would display the other thing first?
