Handling Commands Globally on Page

Hi,
Is there a way to handle commands globally on page?
For example, I have 3 LinkButtons. Each of them has a different CommandName and CommandArgument.
I have checked the type of event parameter in the OnLoad and OnPreRender methods. None of them is CommandEventArgs, not even when the postback is made by a LinkButton.
So what I'd like to avoid is the creation of event handler methods for the LinkButtons.
My other related question would be, is there a way to set this CommandName and CommandArgument for postback on the client-side by JavaScript (and supply e.g. null for the command source value)?
